Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking an Associate Systems Software Analyst; this position will allow for a virtual arrangement. Your primary focus will be working in various cloud technologies. Responsibilities to include but not limited to analyzing multiple datasets to determine if application or server is a Cloud candidate. Following the 7 Strategies of Migrating Applications to the cloud (Also referred to the 7R's Retain, Retire, Refactoring, Repurchasing, Replatforming, Rehosting, and Relocate) establishing the migration plan for that application or system to its determined location. Once the status is determined Safe Agile principles are followed and the proper execution process is followed until the actions are completed.Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:- Analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide applications for both new and existing systems to determine proper status, location and disposition
- Develop requirements, workflow, systems analysis and continues improvement
- Have the ability to troubleshoot, solve complex issues, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation and analyze system capabilities.
- Establish standards for the development and maintenance of new capability and cloud enablers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cloud technologies, software development or application administration.
- The selected candidate will need to have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
- Be able show critical thinking skills and ability to analyze structured and unstructured data
- Understand basic application testing and performance criteria
- Basic understanding of Safe Agile principles
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
- Cloud Certification in Azure and/or AWS
- Safe Agile Certification
- Strong problem solving skills
- Development of action plans based on data analysis.
- Current DoD Secret security clearance.
