Alliance Fire & Safety, recently joined the Impact Fire Services team. As a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services, Alliance Fire & Safety is a full-service provider and a leader in the fire and safety industry since 1992 covering the west coast of Florida.Job SummaryThis position reports to the Fire Alarm Manager or their designated Agent. The Technician will be responsible for performing installations on a variety of fire alarm system devices and fire suppression systems in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician will work with the Company to obtain local city listing agents. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.Job ResponsibilitiesManage time to complete the maximum amount of installation work while maintaining a high level of quality and in compliance with all applicable fire protection codes.Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent.Protect and maintain company equipment.Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.Maintain a neat personal appearance and organized working habits.Perform any other tasks assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or Agent.Job RequirementsFire Alarm System Agent (FASA) Certification is required.Experience installing and servicing Fire Alarm Systems.Fire Panel Programming Experience is a plusExcellent communications, and customer service skills.Ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork.Ability and desire to mentor and pass on knowledge to all levels of trainees.Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.Preferred QualificationsNICET Level II or higher in FA and/or Special Hazard Systems is a plus.Factory Commercial Fire Alarm Certifications is a plus.Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
