We seek a self-motivated, customer service-oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician. The ideal candidate will be organized,professional, and a good communicator. This important position will establish rapport and build positiverelationships with our customers.Job Responsibilities :Responsible for water-based inspections, installations, and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foamsystems; Testing, rebuilding and/or replacing Backflow Preventers. Responsible for identifying trouble areasand performing service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly.Sprinkler and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service:Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines.Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components.Install/hang sprinkler pipe, elbows and couplings per NFPA and engineering guidelines.Perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves (once receiving license).Perform inspection of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems.Job Requirements:1-3 years field experience in Fire Sprinkler and Backflow systems service.Must possess a state Sprinkler License, NICET Certificationand/or Backflow License.Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.Capable of passing a pre-employment background, MVR and drug test.Preferred Qualifications3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service is highlypreferred.Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
