Come make an impact with the best and brightest technologists in the world!About the Information Technology (IT) TrackUKG is looking for interns to join our IT team for the fall of 2022! As an intern in our IT track, you will work in various aspects of a global IT organization and gain experience working cross functionally.The IT Support intern will work closely with permanent staff providing IT support services assistance for small projects and initiatives.Projects Include:Windows 10 - modern OS management• While working with the desktop engineering team, the IT Support Intern will learn the entire Windows 10 lifecycle and how Microsoft manages the operating system. The IT Support intern will assist with updating legacy versions of Win10 that cannot be upgraded through existing automation.IT Asset Management (ITAM)• Validate existing automated system(s) and vendor(s) integrations to maintain proper hardware inventory for all endpoint hardware• Perform routine audits and reconciliation of new, returned and retired hardware• In collaboration with onsite staff, the IT Support Intern will learn the full hardware life cycle from procurement, asset management, provisioning, collection, repair, replacement and retirement.• The IT Support Intern will assist with campus asset management needsMobile Device Management (MDM)• Assist with ongoing maintenance of the MDM system for mobile devices• Assist with proactive upgrades and legacy device clean up
Qualifications • Pursuing BA/BS in Information Technology, Systems, MIS or Engineering• Interests in IT, infrastructure, engineering and modern end user technologies• Proficient with Microsoft Office solutions, databases, inventory controls• Candidates should be comfortable interacting directly with business users, have direct customer service experience and interactions via phone, chat, email and ticketing platformsMust be located in a commutable distance to either Lowell, MA or Weston, FLUKG is unable to sponsor new applicants for employment authorization for our internship program, including students on temporary sponsorship through CPT.
