Cafe Vert is looking for an experienced prep cook to join our kitchen team. As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality ingredients for our made-to-order dishes. This is a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and consistency of our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all necessary ingredients for menu items, such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, mixing sauces, etc.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep station
Assist with plating and garnishing of dishes as needed
Restock and rotate ingredients and supplies
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
Work collaboratively with the rest of the kitchen staff
