HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, located in beautiful Kissimmee, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This work shift is Full-time Days androtating weekends.

What you will do in this role

You will be responsible for providing safe and appropriate nursing care within HCA’s mission and values statements, the Florida Nurse Practice Act, and carrying out physician’s orders.

You will be demonstrating your advanced nursing knowledge, skills, and abilities in this 36-bed PCU unit.

You will be using wall-mounted computers in the patient’s private room for your documentation, and collaborating with our team of Patient Care Techs and supporting clinical staff to provide the best patient care experience and outcomes.

Qualifications you will need for this role

Licensure: Current Florida Registered Nurse license is required or appropriate compact licensure.

Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIHSS or ASLS certification is required; new employees must obtain within six (6) months from start date.

Education: Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1 year current experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
