About the role:As a Systems Operations Analyst, your skills will keep our industry-changing technology platforms humming smoothly. While building your skills and your career, you'll support client-facing systems and applications while driving issue resolution and proactively investigating errors.

About the team:We support the FIS Capital Markets product offerings and Managed Services. We provide world class private and public cloud Infotech support to many of the largest Financial Services providers both domestic and Global.

What you will be doing:

You will be joining a group of dedicated technical specialists focused on both day-to-day support and project oriented objectives. We provide round-the-clock, follow-the-sun support for our clients and services.
  • Manage day to day application and infrastructure service requests, issues and incidents
  • Configure and respond to monitoring alerts for applications and infrastructure
  • Work with the technical teams and the line of business on project delivery of new business, conversions and migrations
  • Execute disaster and high availability recovery testing
  • Implement automation, Continuous Integration /Continuous deployment, and devops solutions to business projects and technical debt

What you will need:
  • Command line mastery of Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
  • Technical skills
    • Hands on one or many scripting languages: BASH, BAT, Cron, KORN, python, powershell
    • Working knowledge of networking, routing, Loadbalacers, VPNs
    • Understanding of various communication protocols - FTP, SFTP, SSL, HTTPS
    • Hands one experience with monitoring tools - CA UIM, Thousand Eyes, APM, SCAPM, etc.
  • Devops skill set
    • Source control: Artifactory, SVN, GIT, Bitbucket
    • Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet
    • Automation tools: Jenkins, Kubernetes
    • Logging and monitoring tools - Splunk, Greylog
  • Security admin
    • SSH, TLS, general working knowledge
    • Certificate management
  • General working knowledge of DBMS suites (Oracle, SQL)
  • Java support
    • Basic understanding of J2EE platform and architecture, including messaging and integration points
    • Experience on at least one: Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache
  • Working knowledge of ITIL practices
    • Change Management
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery

Added bonus if you have:

Experience with IBM MQ, PGP, NDM, MS Active Directory, IIS and Web App monitoring/support
  • Exposure to CICS emulation - UniKix (BPE/TPE/MSF)
  • Financial Services experience a plus
  • Familiar with security applications - Fireye, BIT9, Qradar/SIEM
