Job Description:General Labor will be responsible for the following functions: Unloading of various trucks that are full of various solar supplies, supporting the equipment operators in the unloading of trucks with solar supplies, spotting the trucks as they are driving into the staging areas, staging the materials around the lay down yards, lifting the various solar equipment and moving around the site, working with the various crews to ensure all solar supplies are laid out in the correct areas, taking inventory of the trucks that are being unloaded to ensure it matches the shipping labels, and doing any other general labor functions around the site.Once all of the materials are unloaded these candidates could be asked to join the MV and DC Install crews. Once these crews they will be running the DC and MV cables around the entire job site prior to installing the piles. Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs because they will be pulling very large cable and laying it down in the trenches. These jobs are very challenging due to the physical requirements of the job. These cables are 3-4 inches in diameter so they must be able to handle these task. They will also be spotting the equipment operators as they are digging trenches so these candidates must be willing to use a shovel to dig out some excess dirt and help to set trench boxes. Again these jobs are very physically demanding and will require lots of walking, pulling, kneeling, bending, squatting, lifting and pushing to ensure the jobs are done correctly. Finally a key component to this job is capping off all of the ends, labeling all of the wires and documenting all of the wires for management. They must be able to pay close attention to details.
