- Assist in data modeling and architecture efforts to meet business requirements in a timely manner
- Design and build scalable and efficient database solutions, which includes the ability to analyze and improve existing database infrastructure
- Build solutions to efficiently extract, transform and load data from one data source to another
- Monitor and fine tune databases for optimal performance
- Provide clear, accurate, timely, and well documented solutions to provide a consistent and reliable data service
- Promote data quality and enforce data integrity
- Look for opportunities for enhancing data and tooling used by Capacity Management
- Enable / assist in risk identifications and remediation
- Help defining and executing automated recommendation engines
- Build a transparent framework of Governance Controls, Standards and Best Practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of concepts such as relational database modeling, OLAP and OLTP systems, data warehousing, dimension modeling
- Expertise in SQL and T-SQL or equivalent programming constructs
- Well versed with engineering ETL pipelines (writing data transfer scripts)
- Capacity Management experience
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Dashboarding: Splunk & Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Reporting solutions preferably Tableau
- Experience with Infrastructure Capacity Management
- Private and Public cloud fundamentals
- Apptio Cloudability
