Role: Machine Learning (AI / ML) Engineer Locations: Alpharetta, GA. New York, NY. Duration: Full Time / Long Term Contract Position Overview We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in design and development of data and ML centric applications at scale. The right candidate would have a background in data engineering and requisite familiarity and experience working with Machine learning (ML) algorithms and Frameworks. The role is a confluence of engineering (programming), ML and data analysis. Knowledge of Data Science is a plus. This position is for the Strats team which is part of Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management group within our client's Wealth Management Department. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop analytic models to predict fraud in various payments such as wires, checks etc.
- Monitor performance of existing models and fine tune them
- Help fraud ops team migrate their existing flows from greenplum to hadoop
- Build python based tools to monitor data quality among featuresets used across various models.
- Build tableau dashboards to visualize model metrics and results
- Thorough understanding of various supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques such as Logistic regression, Random forest etc.
- Good understanding of big data ecosystem specifically hadoop, PySpark, Impala and hive
- Good understanding of Unix and ability to write shell scripts to perform ETL jobs.
- Professional experience with deep understanding in data warehousing and business analytics.
- Proficiency in atleast one programming language (Python, Java or Scala)
- Professional experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlikview
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Good understanding of deep learning algorithms.
