Automation Engineer (Hybrid)
Location : Alpharett,GA
Duration : Long term
Required local candidate to GA QA functional and strong automation engineer for a web and mobile application. 3+ years hands on experience with Selenium Webdriver test automation tool and experience needed using Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby and/or C#.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts using test automation framework

Write and maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex mobile and desktop software projects

Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database.

Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

4+ years functional QA experience

3+ years hands on experience with Selenium Webdriver test automation tool

Development experience needed using Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby and/or C# etc

Ability to design and implement test automation framework(s), integrate with continuous integration systems

In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies.

Knowledge of HR/Payroll/Time/Onboarding applications is a plus

Must have strong experience testing iOS and Android native apps

Must Have strong experience working in an Agile development environment

Need experience using Gherkin for writing test cases and solid understanding of use of Cucumber.

Should have experience in various automation tools like Playwright, Protractor and Appium to interact with mobile

Should have good knowledge of web services using REST. SOAP is a plus
