This role will help facilitate the development and deployment of new product offerings in our expanding global marketplace.In this role, you will work with the Product team as well as the Hardware/Firmware Development team charged with developing and enhancing a product’s contribution to our business as well as working with support functions to address customer concerns as they become known.You will be responsible for developing and managing a complete process for identifying, documenting, tracking and following up with all internal (and some external) testers. You will be a primary driver of the research methodologies used to obtain feedback from Beta Test/Dogfooding exercises and will summarize the results for presentation to the larger team.

Provide end-to-end program management for all commercial and consumer beta testing, dogfooding, and other internal and external research efforts. Includes tracking, documenting and following up with each tester using defined processes.

Work directly with supply chain management, key internal stakeholders and executive users to ensure test devices are ordered, categorized by tester type, and shipped to and activated properly by their intended end users.

Motivate and manage participating testers to thoroughly test and report all findings.

Interface with product and functional area leadership teams to surface and report key product and process improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with research team and front end product development to define and refine research methodology required for effective feedback.

Work with software development, marketing, security and device engineering teams to assist in definition of app and device requirements, specifications, related use cases and acceptance criteria.

What we’re looking for You'll need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Computer Science/Engineering or four or more years of work experience.

Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Three or more years of of technical program/project management experience.

Even better if you have:

A degree.

Exceptional trouble-shooting skills.

Analytical and strategic skills to manage an entire testing and research program effort - from communication approach to research design and feedback/results summarization.

Capability to write comprehensive, specific requirements, user stories and related acceptance criteria for current and future products - based on actual research-driven feedback, and work with the larger product team to incorporate into the overall product backlog.

Capability to interface effectively with multiple departments, including Software Development, Device Engineering, Supply Chain Management/Distribution, Marketing, Research and Business Lines.

Programming or other script development experience.

Ability to be tech savvy and passionate about building products.

Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.

Specific knowledge of telematics, consumer electronics, wireless devices and product design/user experience.

Three or more years of software product management experience - ideally in an Agile/Lean development environment.

Software and/or Hardware testing experience.

Relevant Professional Certifications.

Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles.

Proficiency in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project and PowerPoint.

Comfort using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, JIRA and Salesforce.

Astrong sense of ownership, attention to detail, service orientation with theability to identify and surface new process and product improvement opportunities.

Abilityto thrive in a fast paced, Agile/Lean development environment with evolving priorities and meet critical deadlines.
