The Business Unit facing positions offer opportunities to drive better business partnering and insights, while growing your FP&A leadership and interpersonal skills. You are considered a business partner and your contributions will make a difference. You’ll think outside the box and bring a fresh analytical approach to problem solving. Day to day activities include:
Independently and proactively initiatingprojects and analysis.
Design, analyze, review and automate analysis for Sales FP&A utilizing Business Group applications; coordinate with the business and IT for data source requirements.
Develop in-depth analysis of business performance and recommend action plans including customer life cycle (sale to provisioning to billing) and sales performance.
Design, develop, maintain and communicate visual dashboards.
Design and develop ad-hoc analysis based on business requirement needs.
Identify and use appropriate data and analytical approaches to interpret and verify results.
Develop and analyze economic drivers of the business client (e.g. new versus renewals, customer churn, write downs, etc.).
Passion for growth and learning. Strong individual contributor with top notch team collaboration skills.
What we’re looking for You’ll need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field or 4 or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience in analytics, finance, technology, accounting or economics.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite withproven focus on Excel and Access.
Even better if you have:
A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Strong business analytical skills
Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry.
A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, FP&A).
Proficiency in data presentation (Qlik, Tableau, Excel Dashboarding).
SQL experience.
Experience with Business Group Applications (SFDC, GCH, FRR, VESDW, Pipeline BI, SPA)
Exceptional intellectual curiosity and the confidence to question processes and design; propose and implement alternatives.
Knowledge of common business drivers, sales performance analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details.
Ability to self-discover, run with an idea.
Demonstrated agility, flexibility, and positive attitude needed to thrive in an environment of significant change.
