A Data Analyst is responsible for developing metrics, and/or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure critical work processes and compare against benchmarks and standards for performance. Develops and/or generates appropriate reports/dashboards as needed by the business aligned with the standardized reports.
Summary Data Analyst contract position for Data Center Optimization for a period of 12 months. Purpose to support all data analytical needs relative to the Data Center Optimization effort.Data Analyst duties and responsibilities. Extract data from Service Point Collect data from interviews from application owners and engineers. Collaborate with Project managers, and engineers. Support preparation of vendor & client communication with collection and transformation of communication data. Support preparation of vendor & client connectivity changes with collection and transformation of connectivity data. Support preparation of Solution infrastructure build with collection and transformation of solution build data. Support preparation of Test readiness with collection of test scripts, preparation of test framework. Status Metrics.Data Analyst skills and qualifications1. Advanced Excel2. Visio3. Experience or understanding of Data Modeling, database structures4. 2 plus years experience with applications and infrastructure5. 2 plus years experience as a data analyst or reporting analyst6. Preferred experience with Service Point, JIRA7. Preferred experience with preparing test scripts, test planning.8. Preferred Experience with MS Access, any form of SQL and PowerBI9.
