Our client, a major global financial services, is looking for a seasoned Java Developer. The team will be working within Wealth Management, supporting client reporting applications. These applications provide statements, correspondence as well as confirmations of trades.
The position will be based out of Alpharetta, GA remote initially, then coming onsite for 2-3 days/week starting in November.Responsibilities: Understanding business needs and converting them into technical specifications Working within a team environment, following Agile methodologies, to develop enhancements and new portions to the application Developing and designing Java batch processes Developing innovative systems using Kafka and cloud technologies Coordinating with offshore teams Adhering to the organizations product development standards Advising on Design for Optimized Data Access Working with other development groups to understand/gain access to the applicationPrimary Skills / Must have 7 years + of strong knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts and design, with proven experience in Java and JavaScript technologies Well versed with Core Java, Spring / Spring Boot, microservices, and Java batch-oriented processing Kafka for messaging Multithreading experience is a BIG PLUS, as well as DevOps knowledge Some light UI work will be needed; client-side JavaScript technologies including AngularJS Agile methodologies Basic SQL skills Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills Critical thinker and problem solver who has a strong base in web technologies and design concepts.Secondary Skills / Desired skills Experience with performance testing and improvement Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versionsEducation: BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or another technical field.For Immediate Response call 732-640-2403, or send your resume to RecruiterCK@Trigyn.comTRIGYN TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER and has been in business for 30 years.
