Job Title: Monitoring Tools Engineer

Location: Alpharetta GA

Project duration:12 months to start with

Visa: . Travel to customer sites up to 25%, however travel could exceed based on the needs of the business.

Job Description:The purpose of this role is to ensure the new processes and design of the organization’s go forward Systems landscape meet the performance requirements defined by the business, achieves the business goals and enhances our IT capability.

Responsibilities: - • Ensures the successful installation, integration, and deployment of application monitoring tools and solutions in various production and non-production environments• Install application monitoring tools working with the infrastructure teams, and report application metrics with the ultimate goal of preventing problems and improving IT effectiveness• Analyze reported incidents and problems for the applications, assessing patterns, making recommendations and implementing monitoring solutions.• Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with operation, maintenance, and development of the monitoring• Creates and executes application and system test procedures after tools implementation• Identifies critical business transactions and implement tools to managing alert and response• Identifies opportunities for streamlining processes through automation• Works with the primary support team to provide industry leading service and support• Lead implementation of tools and monitoring with Outsourcing providers• Manage and ensure Security remediation Implementation for all findings• Service maintenance employing ITIL principles• Lead problem Management and resolution• Provide Instrumentation for proactive diagnostic insight into health of applications• Create systems for error handling, and logging• End-to-end ownership of managing the tools application and ensured the on-time updates & upgrade doneEducation and Experience Required:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area of study• 6+ years of experience in Monitoring & Observability Tools implementation, administration & integration with 3rd party ITOM & ITSM platform• Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience

Knowledge and Skills:• Experience in administering Monitoring Applications (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic, ELK APM, etc.)• Experience in design & implementation of Monitoring Applications solution (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, NewRelic, ELK APM, etc.)• Knowledge on Application Performance, Synthetic, Real User Monitoring & Log Analytics using tools• Must have thorough knowledge on all operating systems and platforms (Varies Applications, Middleware, Network, Windows/Unix servers, Virtualization, Containers, Cloud Services, Database, etc)• Knowledge of SQL query language, API, script languages (PowerShell, python, shell script, YAML, other’s)• Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
