I/S provides the information technology required for all Publix business units including retail stores and all office and warehouse environments. The Publix I/S mission is to maximize the value of information technology to Publix associates and customers. Publix is looking for an experienced Mainframe Systems Programmer to perform installation, customization, and tuning activities in a z-series mainframe environment.
- Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years experience as a mainframe systems programmer
- Ability to perform IBM ServerPac or z/OSMF upgrades of IBM CICS and other major subsystems in a z/OS environment.
- Ability to configure and tune IBM CICS regions.
- At least 7 years experience using IBM SMP/E to install and upgrade IBM and ISV products in a z/OS environment.
- Expert level understanding and experience with IBM z/OS JCL and Utilities.
- Operational and configuration experience with TCPIP and VTAM in a z/OS environment.
- Installation and customization experience with Broadcom-CA OPS/MVS Automation Product.
- Installation and customization experience with Broadcom-CA View and Deliver products.
- Installation and customization experience with Microfocus SecureData z/Protect Product.
- Installation and customization experience with MacKinney z/OS products.
- Detailed understanding of RACF security and certificates.
- Installation and customization experience with Axway CFT product in a z/OS environment.
