Our industry-leading client needs a Senior Java Engineer who has Java expertise to help build solutions in an Agile environment.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Senior Java Engineer:- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level, scalable solutions using Java/J2EE technologies
- Participate in SDLC from end to end
- Work in an Agile/iterative development team
- Work with SMEs and Architects to identify areas for improvement
- Work with Tier 2/3 support teams to triage production issues and provide resolution
- Bachelor's degree required, technical domain preferred
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Advanced level experience in development on Java EE & Open source technologies stack
- Hands-on experience in deployment and troubleshooting Application Servers, such as, Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss
- Hands-on experience in Enterprise Integration architecture, and different messaging framework, such as ActiveMQ, OracleAQ, Kafka
- Hands-on experience in unit tests framework, such as Junit/Mockito/Cucumber
- Experience in modular software architecture, Micro services, messaging and SOA
- Experience in using tools such as, Jira, Confluence/Wiki, TFS
- Experience in Microservices
