Location: Alpharetta, GA (once we go back to an office and will be only 3 days in and 2 days WFH)

We are seeking a ServiceNow developer with a demonstrated general understanding of fundamental ServiceNow development and administrative concepts. Candidate will develop enhancements, custom applications, and remediate defects throughout our ServiceNow implementation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The accepted candidate will be responsible for developing enhancements and remediating defects throughout the ServiceNow platform. This will including, among others, the Service Portal, custom and third-party scoped applications, as well as standard modules such as Incident, Problem, and Change. The accepted candidate will also be required to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regularly.

Preferred Education/Experience:

The candidate should be able to demonstrate general knowledge of fundamental ServiceNow administration and development concepts such as, but not limited to, client and server scripting, permissions management, creation and modification of custom tables, and so on.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification (including Quebec delta exam) is required.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following ServiceNow development fundamentals:
  • Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.
  • Data importing and Transform Maps
  • Inbound Email Actions
  • Using Update Sets (including batched) to capture and promote changes between environments.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following JavaScript fundamentals:
  • Correct usage of functions, loops, conditionals, arrays, and objects within the context of ServiceNow.
  • Appropriate usage of GlideRecord to query, insert, and update records.
  • Debugging.
  • Experience with the following are a plus, but not required:
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Flow Designer.
  • Integration Hub.
  • Custom inbound and outbound REST and SOAP integrations.
