Sr Director MarketingCategory:Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United StatesThe Senior Director of Marketing, Business Services, will join a dynamic, high performing marketing team supporting a high growth advanced analytics and data technology business. This role will develop the strategic plan to support the business goals to promote our solutions and drive the development and implementation of innovative, fully integrated marketing programs to drive awareness, create demand and foster customer retention. This leader will build relationships across the matrixed structure and provide sophisticated marketing excellence guidance, a disciplined approach and ongoing career development supporting a customer- centric and metric-driven approach to help the business achieve revenue and profit targets. This position will lead a team of approximately ten marketers that will set the market strategy and execute on the plan to ensure business objectives are met.This newly created, hands-on position reports to the Vice President of Marketing for the Business Services division and will drive marketing activities to support the success of our Financial Crime Compliance, Fraud and Identity, Collections, Investigations, Business Risk Management, Credit Risk and Customer Information Management solutions. The role is based in Alpharetta, GA.Accountabilities
Drive development of fully integrated strategic marketing plans with objectives around awareness, demand generation and retention driven by segmentation, customized by sales team and is optimized based on performance analysis
Lead segmentation of prospects and installed base, create personas for target audiences and conduct marketing program analyses and marketing performance optimization
Create strategic approach for go-to-market product launches including decisions about marketing mix and process for marketing to deliver on expectations
Build channel/sales team-specific strategic plans and programs and deliver impactful prospecting and installed base initiatives such as account based marketing programs (ABM), retention, and support cross-sell/upsell initiatives
Set the communication strategy and lead the creation of the annual content calendar to deliver high impact messaging and thought leadership content such as eBooks, infographics, whitepapers, industry research studies, website content, social posts, blogs, video, print, public relations, etc.
Ensure excellence in execution of plan deliverables such as direct mail, digital advertising, paid search, email, events, social, media relations, analyst briefings, webinars, creative development, etc.
Navigate a matrixed environment to successfully collaborate with various cross functional teams across the organization including sales, market planning, strategy, product, corporate marketing, corporate communications and marketing operations
Manage marketing budget and work with the analytics team to track, analyze and report marketing results
Manage team of marketers to deliver flawless execution of plans and deliver on plans that achieve goals
All other duties as assigned such as testing innovative marketing strategies and tools, corporate acquisition due diligence and company integrations, product migrations, etc.
Qualifications
4-year college degree preferably in Marketing or Business, MBA or masters level education or equivalent experience required
12+ years’ in-depth strategic marketing experience required, B2B marketing experience required; technology field preferred
Strong acumen and proven track record in strategic planning and executing integrated marketing programs, campaigns and tactics for demand generation and retention
Adept at persona creation, segmentation analysis and use of look-alike modeling to drive marketing plans
Proven ability to uncover insights and optimize programs to meet goals using analytics
Proficient with strategic message development and content creation
Strong competency in project management and organization with ability to lead multiple projects/deadlines
Extensive experience with digital and direct response marketing programs
Experience in account-based marketing
Experience leveraging marketing automation and CRM tools
Agency and vendor management experience, including creative oversight and contract negotiations
Strategic, critical thinker and analytical/creative problem solver
Highly influential communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled at working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and partners
Self-starter and passionate with strong bias towards driving results
Strong attention to detail
Substantial experience and success at managing people required
Experience with budget management
Ability to travel as necessary
