Mandatory skills:OEM upgrade,conflict detection, resolution solutions, CDR solutions,architectural topology, architectural designs, replication, replication technology,networks, storage, encryption, security, cloud, backup, recovery technology,database resources, database performance, database size, database patches, database upgrades,Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, Python,database utility, Oracle Enterprise Manager,business requirements, technical specifications, system architect diagrams, performance tuning Description: • Demonstrate advanced skills in Oracle utilities AWR, ADDM and OsWatcher as well as OEM management and administration.• Highly skilled in Oracle Enterprise Manager• Need experience with OEM upgrade• Need to have good scripting skills, Shell , Salt etc.,• Work closely with senior leadership, clients, systems programmers, and development staff to define and resolve information flow and content issues.• Work on multiple projects as an Oracle DBA or SME in database technology independently.• Design and implement conflict detection and resolution (CDR) solutions for replication. Configure, administer, and implement complex database infrastructures, multiple replication technologies, multi-directional flows, and other high availability architectural topologies.• Configure and administer Oracle GoldenGate and other high availability architectural designs.• Monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.• Support multiple servers and multiple databases of medium to high complexity (complexity defined by database size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of the data. Perform fail-over testing;• Implement database patches and upgrades; and demonstrate expert level knowledge of networks, storage, encryption, security, cloud and backup and recovery technologies.Required Qualifications:• Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + 5 years of IT experience in Oracle database administration. In the alternative,• Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + 5 years of IT experience in Oracle database administration.• Must have experience with: Development procedures, cloud, and emerging technologies; IT service management or ITIL;• 2 years in one or more computer languages, such as Perl, Unix Shell Scripting, and Python;• 5 years in database utilities, including Oracle Enterprise Manager;• 5 years translating business requirements into technical specifications and system architect diagrams;• 5 years installing and administering Oracle 11g, 12C and 19;• 5 years installing and administering ASM;• 5 years installing and administering RAC;• 5 years with backup and restore techniques for databases of at least 10TB;• 5 years with performance tuning, problem diagnosis and resolution;• 5 years with shell scripting.• 5 years with SQL• 5 years in troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including application server, network, storage, and operating system component/layer;• 5 year with GoldenGate or other database replication technologies.• 5 years with Exadata, ODA appliances VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
