Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a
Java/Spring Developer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Information Technology Services clients in Alpharetta, GA. Role will initially be remote but will likely be extended so candidate should be local. Responsibilities :- This is a Spring Java developer on an enterprise Web Application
- The project is a risk defense platform
- Banks will come to the client to validate risk of an individual
- They will check the devices individuals use, addresses, essentially preventing fraud and data phishing/mining risks
- Write Application code with highest quality, secure and unit tested. All code must follow the coding and security standards.
- Coordinate with others within the team and organization for the betterment of the products we are tasked with delivering.
- This includes being aware of development efforts in other components that might impact application.
- Clearly express your ideas and solutions to team members, other departments and managers.
- Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
- Training and guiding junior developer.
- Solving production issues.
- JAVA / Spring MVC
- Web service : Both Rest and Soap
- React, Angular
- Required: Tomcat, MySQL, JSP, Javascript, HTML, CSS,Jquery,JEE, Design Patterns
- Capable of learning and working on a complex system quickly
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
- Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues
