Our client has IMMEDIATE NEED for Engineering/Production Parts Buyer for their manufacturing plant in Eastern Georgia.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:- Procure parts to ensure that parts inventory is stocked to maintain production levels, prepare sourcing strategie- Facilitate supplier relationships and present alternative solutions when necessary- Support of multiple product lines- Lead and develop a supply base of 60-80 suppliers- Author/execute strategies that drive supplier cost reduction, quality and accountability.- Directly procure $40-60 million worth of production components - Establish lines of contact with team members, supporting cross communication and idea generation- Prepare sourcing strategies, run supplier relationships and present alternative solutions when necessary

Requirements:- Bachelor degree in a engineer/supply-chain related field preferred, not required with right experience.- Must possess 1-2 years purchasing experience- Strong negotiating skills in regards to contracts/ pricing- Ability to thrive in dynamic environment- Must have experience in manufacturing industry, OEM and supply chain management- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
