Role: Web Developer Location: Athens - GA Level: Level I (0-3 years) Duration: 6+ Months Request-ID: 874-1 Job Description : The Opportunity As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating fully custom designs for our clients. You will meet with financial institution representatives to determine their needs and wants. Then you will develop and iterate on mockups with them until we have what they are looking for and what will work with standard web practices. You will ensure that end users can browse the websites you create in an accessible and resource optimized manner. There are plenty of opportunities to take leadership in innovating, on your own or with a group, to automate processes and user experiences. POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Design custom websites based on clients' vision and best practices Required to self-manage workload, be assertive in innovation, and proactively take on more work and responsibility as comfort level with our systems and processes increases. Maintain a working knowledge of web best practices and technology advancements. Be capable of learning and adapting to changes in an innovative environment. Required Competencies: A strong foundation in modern website design Responsive website prototyping proficiency (HTML, CSS, SCSS) Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop and Illustrator) Ability to steer clients towards effective design solutions Ability to communicate in English (written and orally) in an open, candid, clear, complete and consistent manner Analytical skills for determining causes of problems and solutions for solving them Preferred Competencies: Javascript Photoshop Action Scripting Website development on Wordpress in a unix environment.
