Supplier manufacturing quality – drive implementation of Pro-Cert/Quality improvements at key Carrier suppliers (may be assigned specific commodities)
Support the Carrier manufacturing plants by completing PPAPs as part of a Center of Excellence (COE).
Drive supplier gold performance for assigned suppliers.
Provide on-site guidance and coaching to key suppliers to drive improvements in performance
Work with suppliers to improve warranty recovery processes
Act as a coach/facilitator for supplier quality improvement events and teaching quality tools
Attain business objectives for quality, warranty spend, SPPM, FPY and safety
Some travel will be required
Serving as quality expert in support of quality/compliance investigations, as required with the supplier base.

Be able to raise issues openly and have the ability to influence people that do not work for you.EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Quality)The ideal candidate would be:
Experience in quality and supplier quality disciplines with 2-10+ years of direct work experience in quality (grade will dependent on years of experience and knowledge/skills), manufacturing, and engineering applying the quality tools including APQP, FMEA, Control plans, PPAP, SPC, MSA, RRCA and ACE tools.
Strong writing skills
Excellent communication skills, a creative and innovative mindset
Self-directed with meticulous attention to detail
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
