Rocky Ridge Trucks Inc. is seeking a HR Assistant to join our team. The right candidate will be a self-motivated, team player who has strong interpersonal and communication skills. This person would serve as our point person for employees regarding benefits, payroll, and policies/procedures.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
Serve as point of contact with Corporate Headquarter on benefits and policies.
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
Perform orientations and update records of new staff
Complete reporting for Corporate HQ
Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors.
Complete termination paperwork
Assist management in special projects as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Exposure to Labor Law and employee regulations
Effective HR administration and people management skills
Exposure to payroll practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
Fantastic organizational and time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to accurately follow instructions
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required; Associates preferred
Human Resources experience preferred
Payroll experience preferred
