This is an opportunity to use your skills as a surface repair specialist in a very special, niche trade. We are a 21 year old company and the exclusive warranty surfacing repair company for DuPont, LG Hausys, Formica, Hanwha and others. Our only business is the repair of countertops made from Quartz, Granite and Marble and Solid Surface, such as Corian. This work does not involve fabrication or installation, it consists of fine surfacing repairs only.
The work is a mix of warranty inspections and repairs, private residential repairs and some commercial repairs.
It is a unique "work on your own schedule" type of job with lots of scheduling flexibility. We send you the repair work; you schedule it at your convenience. Most repairs take 1 - 4 hrs.
Currently we are looking for someone to work as an independent contractor or an employee
For this type of work you use your own vehicle. It must be a pickup, van, SUV or similar type of vehicle.
We offer free supplemental training at our facility to help you learn the latest repair skills and techniques, if you have the basic experience listed below.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Good computer skills
- Be a great communicator, both verbally and written
- Be able to test negative on a pre-employment drug test
- Meet our criminal background screening criteria
- Be able to lift 50 lbs.
At least 2 years of experience of at least ONE of the below:
Solid Surface hands-on FABRICATION in a shop
Granite/Marble Restoration
Granite/Marble hands-on FABRICATION in a shop
