Requisition Number: 214769 Provides leadership on strategic initiatives, managing critical relationships for Outside Plant Engineering and Construction Organization with internal and external partners, addressing the rapid pace of change that results from multi-layer programs. Were looking for a candidate who thrives in grey space, enjoys simplifying the inevitably complex, and, above all, enjoys working with and through others to deliver and win!
  • Provides cross-functional strategic leadership and execution of multi-layer initiatives across Technology, Supply Chain and Outside Plant Construction, ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives.
  • Successfully builds and manages relationships between stakeholders and vendors to their business process and strategic initiatives goals.
  • Works closely with technology senior management in order to fully understand business priorities of the function and the corporation as a whole.
  • Identifies, proposes, and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations.
  • Consults with business leaders to define key performance indicators and service levels, create a process framework, and initiate and direct improvement activities.
  • Directs Technology economic, alternative, and feasibility evaluations.
  • Oversees and leads contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Analyzes and manages capital and expense budgets.
  • Establish functional strategic goals for improving operations and services. Initiate and direct activity aligned with achieving improvement goals.

Qualifications:Minimum
  • At least ten years of experience required in related field (Construction, Change Management, Leadership, Program Management)
  • Requires strong knowledge of of Windows based applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio)
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, planning, prioritization and management skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

Preferred
  • BS/BA degree in related discipline (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, Business)
  • At least three years of experience in a management role
  • Experience in telecommunications industry
