We are partnered with one of the largest Managed Service Providers in Atlanta that is looking for a Lead Network Engineer to oversee a team of Network Engineers and Analysts and be considered the highest escalation point for all Networking issues. This Lead Network Engineer will have various responsibilities, including managing various projects across the networking team, proactively finding solutions, and overseeing a team of 5+. The ideal candidate for this position will have lead/management network experience, fluent with at least 3 routers/switches vendors, and ability to pick up new technology on the fly. This role will be remote for the most part, however candidates must be comfortable traveling 1-2 days per week to various client sites around Atlanta. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Lead/Manger
- Understanding of 3+ Routing/Switching vendors (HP, Dell, Cisco, etc.)
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Virtualization experience with Hyper-V or vSphere
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Related certifications are a plus (ASA, Cisco, PCNSE)
- Prior MSP experience is a plus
