You would serve as the Senior Strategic Architect as part of the Information Management team enabling data for BI, Reporting and Analytics across Cox Communications. Your key function is part of the Data Support Systems (DSS) within the Technology organization. You would enable and deliver on program initiatives, projects, and operations across: - Information Architecture (Data Domain & Schematics) - Data Discovery Capabilities (search, scan, tag and classify data) - Information Solutions & Functionality (workflow, libraries, predictive techniques, etc.) - Technology Roadmap (Information Management - application and tools) - Emerging Technologies (Cloud-based integration, Analytics, etc.)

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: - Create and design capability and functional-oriented architecture design and solutions (gaps and needs) utilizing tool investments and enabling a core data hub concept. - Create and design custom solutions (as needed) to close gaps and integrate with core tools and applications. Identify opportunities for automation and at scale. - Execute Information Architecture and deliverables into programs/project, bringing forth standard data domains, architecture and modeling of entity driven approach. - Enable data architecture and modeling through Information Architecture conceptual and logical models. - Provide thought leadership and partner with IM team leads in opportunities for (Metadata, Master Data, Data Quality and Data Governance) growth. - Improve SDLC deliverables (data requirements, flows, design) with Solutions & Architecture teams. - Lead and partner to evaluate methodology, tools, deliverables, and hand-off from to Development and Operations teams. - Develop an Information Management technical roadmap with the team and inputs across the organization. Manage roadmap and measure its progress. Align to overall DSS roadmap. - Establish and execute training, lunch and learns, doctor sessions, how-to guides, and FAQs in use of common tools and knowledge repositories.

Qualifications:

Minimum: - 8+ years of work experience - Demonstrated experience in data requirements gathering, data solution design, data flow diagrams, and data architecture. - Demonstrated experience in project delivery - leading and execution of data driven deliverables. - Demonstrated experience with data platforms: ODS, DW/Mart & Big Data and Cloud. - Ability to conduct data analysis with PL/SQL and other querying tools. - Must have strong people leadership skills, project management and communication skills

Preferred: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or MIS or similar degree. - Experience with metadata, data quality and data architecture design, execution, and tools - Experience with Informatica, XML, and ETL processes a plus - Experience in large scale data transformation and implementations Who We Are
