CNA Search is seeking a talented Infrastructure Architect. Must live in Atlanta Georgia. This is a direct hire role with amazing benefits. Desired Education/Training/Experience:IT Infrastructure Architect must not only network engineering skills, but they also require organization and conceptualization skills. They can easily engage in abstract thinking and logical reasoning and can self-evaluate and adapt efficiently. They should also be able to delegate tasks to other members of the IT team so that they can focus on their area of expertise. In addition to these general personality traits and skills, employers are seeking IT Infrastructure Architect candidates who have the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in areas such as computer science, engineering, or information systems
- 10 years of related work experience in networking engineering and architecture including containerization and virtualization.
- 3+ years’ experience in a solution or technical architect role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
- Proven experience developing strategic IT Infrastructure Architecture plans/projects for highly scalable and secure platforms and taking those to successful completion.
- Extensive experience in system and network creation and development
- Extensive background in Microsoft technologies, Linux, ESXi/VMWare, and Azure.
- Experience with migration of legacy architecture stacks to more modern infrastructure and network practices (ex. migration from on-premises to cloud-based infrastructure, support CI/CD automation and release structures, containerization, and virtualization).
- Solid understanding of information processing fundamentals and best practices
- Above-average analytical, conceptual, and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience managing and guiding other engineers and developers as well as coordination of team with product owners and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience conducting technology, trends, standards, and products research
- Solid track record in prioritizing and executing tasks when under extreme pressure
- Experience providing guidance and leadership to novice systems engineers
- Proven experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving system problems
- Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of computer and network systems (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, network switches, LAN/WAN Analysis, load balances, etc)
- Familiarity and expertise in a variety of programs and platforms needed for network and systems engineering such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with Citrix based systems desirable
