Requisition Number: 211755 Cox Communications is looking for a Analytics Senior Manager- Supply Chain, which is a leadership role that oversees analytics needs for the Supply Chain analytics program. This position is responsible for management of the Supply Chain analytics portfolio and any associated projects performed across the Supply Chain domain such as CPE planning, materials usage, CPE testing, monitoring costs, outlier detection, forecasting. Additionally, this role is responsible for proactive engagement across Supply Chain business leadership to influence decisions and provide guidance regarding Supply Chain strategy. The Supply Chain Analytics Senior Manager role requires strong leadership, communication skills, business acumen and partnership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists through the end-to-end process of developing analytical insights including request evaluation, data discovery and preparation, model selection, modeling, model evaluation, A/B testing, model operationalization, translating analytical insights into actionable business solutions.
  • Supports Supply Chain leadership in their data and analytics transformation journey.
  • Manages the quality of the end-to-end process of developing analytical insights. Works seamlessly with the leaders of the Supply Chain organization, provides direction and guidance.
  • Collaborates with business partners to develop business problems statements and formulates approaches and deliverables.
  • Manages internal controls, including project intake and project management methodologies.
  • Develops the team to identify and translate analytical results into meaningful and actionable insights and business recommendations that influence business change.
  • Develops effective presentations and documentation that clearly communicates results that align with business issues and challenges. Communicates complex information in a simple, clear and concise way. Contributes to resolving cross-functional conflicts and challenges.
  • Drives project milestones and deliverables to completion. Establishes and enhances partnerships, defines accountability, leads the activities which operationalize key findings.
  • Provides technical direction and guidance for the team. Develops and mentors the team through complex statistical models and quantitative analyses. Guides the team on processes for selecting analytical methods and techniques. Provides guidance and direction for the design and implementation of data collection, cleansing, and validation.
  • Oversees the development of tools, tests, and dashboards to enable implementation of insights. Supports testing, training, and development of new business practices.
  • Supports the development of vision and direction for the team.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
  • 7 or more years of experience required developing and implementing analytical solutions across different functional areas
  • 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree
  • Requires extensive teamwork, communication, presentation, and time management skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
  • Experience applying analytical tools, techniques, and processes to solve business issues
  • Ability to understand and translate advanced analytics for business partners. Ability to communicate with the business leaders in Supply Chain.

Preferred:
  • BS/BA in quantitative field strongly desired (statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, etc.)
  • Advanced degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other analysis related fields preferred
  • AWS Cloud experience
  • 3 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects
  • Certification in CAP (Certified Analytics Professional)
  • Experience leading large teams of 5+ in your organization
  • Implementing cross-functional analytical projects and solutions, including defining scope, timelines and milestones.
  • Experience within telecommunications, cable enterprises, or consulting
  • Understanding of advanced analytics methods, problem solving approaches, and analytics delivery process.
