Job Description:- One of our telecommunications practice is looking for dynamic and driven professionals to join a rapidly growing high-performance team. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitator Leader Sets up and runs team events including Daily Standups, Iteration Planning/Review/Retrospective needs to ensure team productivity/velocity and time management/integrity.
  • Plans an iteration based on available team capacity vs. total team capacity (e.g., considering PTOs, Individual Development time, Organizational obligations, etc.).
  • Identifies/bring up impediments, facilitates and drives removal of such impediments, and proactively identifies/removes potential impediments risk management/mitigation (Not only assess current situation, but also forward looking)
  • Coordinate with other (dependent) teams to manage cross-team dependencies (for an iteration or PI). Assists Product Owner in managing backlog working closely with the dev team.
  • Assist in PI Planning, Iteration/System Demos (not code walkthroughs), assist team in Feature/User Story Estimation, establishing baselines, driving and measuring continuous improvements.
  • If/when a critical work-item hits the team mid-iteration, has effective reprioritization conversations instead of (a) loading the team with additional work on one end of the spectrum, vs. (b) rigidly holding on to the Iteration Plan on the other end of the spectrum.
  • Provide weekly status updates to the leadership teams they should be able to derive (along side the PM) and communicate the business value for each of the updates.
  • Manage Pager Duty support rotations.
  • Participate in On call to understand customer pain points and direct them to available resources (knowledge articles, FAQs or technical SMEs).
Qualification:
  • Familiarity with DevOps culture, shared service teams and CICD components a big plus.
  • Scrum Master certification (SAFe or Scrum Alliance) is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of scrum frameworks and other Agile frameworks: Kanban, XP.
  • Experience with Jira, JiraAlign and Confluence.
  • Degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred.
Additional Notes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Need to build rapport with the dev team. Cultural fit with the team will be important as the individual will be responsible for close, and tactical, coordination with the dev team on a daily basis.
