Exciting work you will do:
  • The position will be responsible for coordinating, managing, initiatives and efforts, partnering with cross business units. The position is expected to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders at various levels of the organization to champion and drive initiatives of varying size and complexity. Facilitates and/or manages the identification of timelines, dashboards and financial scorecards for each initiative to keep senior leaders current on progress and potential challenges Drive accountability and discipline around results and value realization, including managing teams in a matrix environment to ensure successful planning and execution against defined roadmaps and having accountability to meeting operational and financial targets.
  • Works independently with limited guidance of more senior staff/mgmt. to plan and organize project strategy and execution details.
  • Schedules and lead calls regarding activity
  • Develop, maintain and monitor initiative or workstreams deployment roadmap
  • Communicate success, progress, risks, etc. to Program Leads
  • Develop communication, status material that supports activity of initiative/workstream
  • Maintain or provide updates to task plans
  • Coordinate activities with Operations, IT, Product, Client Engagement to ensure project remains on schedule and in accordance with project plan
  • Represent Assurant when needed during project meetings
  • Recognize opportunities for process improvement and propose recommendations
  • Prepare stakeholders for implementations by planning and/or gathering operational requirements, coordinating training for internal or external systems/dependencies, and providing support for questions related to our operation for small change requests for existing clients
  • Monitors progress through review of implementation schedules. Redirects efforts and escalates when initiative goals are not being met.
  • Work with cross functional team to resolve project team conflicts. Financial services experience desired Analyst background may be helpful Work in agile environment Project management skills, project plans
