Title: Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Atlanta, GADuration: 12+ Months Job Description: Improve the security posture of our infrastructure including our cloud environments- Collaborate cross functionally to make design/strategy decisions and advocate for security improvements.
- Respond to infrastructure security alerts and perform investigations
- Participate in IT and security audits
- 3+ years of experience securing cloud platforms (IAM, VPC Security, KMS, Container Security)
- 3+ years of experience working with and hardening Linux environments (e.g. PAM, SELinux, SSHD, auditd)
- 2+ years experience with coding (Python or Java is a plus)
- 2+ years in a start-up culture
- Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or similar area of study, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with HIDS and NIDS tooling (OSSEC, Snort, Bro, Suricata, etc.)
- Experience with Terraform/Puppet and/or other IaC tooling
- Experience securing large Google Cloud Platform environments
- Experience with security incident management and response
- Experience with SIEM tools such as QRadar or Splunk
- Security related certifications
- CISSP, Google Cloud Platform/AWS Cloud Security Engineer, or similar certification
