Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

As a Cloud Security Engineer on Mandiant's Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team, you will have an influential and pivotal role in supporting Mandiant’s mission by helping us to secure our systems and data through the implementation and operations of a world-class IAM program and solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with Mandiant’s team of experts to design, implement, and support resilient and secure systems. This includes the opportunity to implement green-field IAM technologies and processes, as well as enhancing current solutions, to help re-invent Mandiant’s IAM program and implement a zero-trust architecture.

· Implement and operate IAM solutions, including solutions for directory services, single sign-on, secrets management, PAM (Privileged Access Management), and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)

· Implement and operation SAAS and Public Cloud-based solutions

· Work collaboratively with teams across the organizations, especially technology engineering and operations teams, to design, implement, and improve technologies and processes.

· Provide leadership, mentorship, and subject matter expertise to teams and individuals implementing, operating, and using technology within Mandiant.

· Assist with the development and oversight of technology projects, including the development of implementation roadmaps, story co-creation, and quality assurance from an identity & security perspective.

· Ensure that technology implementations and processes meet the expectations of industry standard technology and security frameworks.

· Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that implementations meet expectations.

· Design, implement, and execute repeatable and measurable IAM processes.

· Create and maintain detailed documentation to support the implementation and maintenance of technologies.

Qualifications

· 5+ years successfully implementing and operating IAM solutions.

· Proven work experience as an IAM engineer or similar role.

· Experience with SaaS-based PKI solutions.

· Experience with secrets management solutions, such as HashiCorp Vault.

· Experience with PAM solutions, such as CyberArk and Thycotic.

· Experience implementing and integrating IAM solutions with SaaS and Public Cloud technology.

· Experience with Azure Active Directory, Okta, and/or Ping Federate.

· Proven work experience in information technology engineering and operations.

· Experience in working in highly regulated industries and technology environments.

· Experience with Azure Active Directory, Okta, and/or Ping Federate.

· Understanding and experience with security and compliance frameworks, such as SOC2 and FedRAMP.

· Experience working with and establishing a DevOps team, practices, and culture.

· Highly motivated, goal driven, influential, innovative, curious, open minded, fun to work with, team player.

· Solid technical background with an ability to communicate with non-technical audiences and junior personnel.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

· Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and appropriately prioritize tasks, and keep abreast of the latest technology.

· Willingness to work with people in different time zones.
