We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for a talented Construction Quality Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work onsite at the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for monitoring QC efforts of the contractors during construction, closeout and occupancy.

Responsible for managing the Special Inspection/QA Testing 3rd Party Test and Inspection Agency, QA surveying services and commissioning services.

The QA Manager (QAM) reports administratively to the Deputy Director. - CMSS and Operationally to the ACM.

The QAM is responsible for coordinating QA oversight of the work being performed by the contractor(s).

The QAM and 3rd Party Inspection Agencies work in collaboration with the assigned RE's, ARE’s, Inspectors and Design Team.

The QAM reviews and provides comments on the contractor QC Plans.

The QAM is responsible for having a thorough knowledge of the approved Contractor Quality Control Plan and enforcement of the same.

Tracking of Contractor administrative and quality discrepancies to closure.

Other tasks as may be assigned

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

High School Diploma plus fifteen (15) years of construction field inspection-related experience is required. Five years must be as a related quality assurance or testing role.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field may be substituted for 2 – 4 years of experience.

Minimum ten (10) years’ experience as QA/QC Manager, or similar experience - CACM, CCM, CAPM or PMP certification preferred.

Ten years of construction experience on large multimillion-dollar transportation projects.

Knowledge of Safety Plans, and QA/QC Plans, Project Procedures Manual and Desktop Instructions.

Effective oral and written skills for client presentations and technical reporting and correspondence.

Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of project team, client, and others.

Knowledge of contract quality requirements.

Knowledge of Building Codes and Special Inspection processes.

Other project-related duties as assigned by the Deputy Director - CMSS.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Some knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheets, documents and database software (such as PMWeb, P6, Excel, Word, Access etc.) is a plus.

CACM, CCM, CAPM or PMP certification a plus.
