Must cook and prepare meals for patients following dietary guidelines for meal modifications as ordered per person and/or in bulk; retail based on weekly menu rotations, requests and stations.

Must be able to do short order cooking and preparation of patient meals following dietary guidelines for meal modifications as ordered per person and/or in bulk; must complete annual skills and cooking competency training successfully.

These may include knife training, basic cooking techniques, sauces, etc.; basic nutrition and diet therapy; food sanitation and safety and food waste management

. May assist the Cook I with any production problems identified. May assist with the training with new hires.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; (4) Four years of institutional food preparation or cooking experience; ServSafe certification required within 6 months in the position.
