Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote) Client: MCIC Job Type: Contract-to-hire Pay: $DOE Role: Remote Role Summary: The Data Analyst is responsible to partner with the Data Analysts function to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This includes develop analysis and reporting capabilities and implementing procedures and processes to monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. We are seeking someone who is very data-driven and possesses strong analytical skills to draw sharp insights and action from data. There is no handholding, and the candidate is expected to have a deep and thorough understanding of data analytics. IMP Note from HM:
- We need a person who is well versed in engaging with Business, who has an experience and can easily see how req's are being translated to Dashboard and build in Reports.
- Should be able to understand, where to fetch data from and all.
- Client uses Business Objects (BO) but will be moving to TABLEAU -(so strong knowledge/experience of TABLEAU is very essential).Salesforce experience is must.

- Data Analyst needs to talk to Business stakeholders, translate Requirement to Report and must have some Customer interaction experience.
- Client has Claims group, Insurance ops group - so all these groups will have ONE Data Analyst, due to which candidate will be talking and interacting with all level of peoples.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
- Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
- Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
- Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Tableau is a must.
- Knowledge of or experience in working with Healthcare, Insurance or Med Mal organizations preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce Application.
- Data Modelling & Data Management best practices
- RDMSs (relational database management systems) or foundational database skills
- Database management system software, especially Microsoft SQL Server
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with positive results.
- Proactive/Self-disciplined/Creative/High energy / Self-starter / Strong sense of urgency
- Able to grasp the "big picture" while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
