Database Administrator Position Description We are seeking a Database Administrator to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of onsite work from the Metro-Atlanta area. Job Summary: The Database Administrator will be responsible for designing and securing computer databases to store, track, and maintain a large volume of critical business information.
- This position completes activities relating to database management, planning, development, security, and maintenance.
- Develops database models, definitions, and standards for administering enterprise databases on one or more platforms.
- Designs and coordinates the implementation of database structures for one or more platforms.
- May be asked to convert legacy Microsoft Access Databases to SQL Server.
- Under minimal supervision, the DBA will be part of the IT Technical Team and ensure the IT framework is applied to all active projects
