Job Description: Director of Enterprise Architecture will lead and support the transformation of technology capabilities through the establishment and application of Enterprise Architecture practices, including standards, patterns, roadmaps, governance and communication. In this role you will need to collaborate with VP, Architecture & Innovation in establishing the vision, goals, and implementation plan for the Enterprise Architecture function and effectively drive the realization of that vision and goals. In this role you will be responsible for implementing modern enterprise architecture framework. This will be a hands on role you will need to produce deliverables by him/herself.

This positis is direct hire. Salary will range between 180-210K and offer a variety of other benefits, including bonus and unlimited PTO. This is a hybrid role and you must be able to work onsite 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

Lead the establishment and adoption of architecture processes, principles, standards/patterns and measurements to reduce technical debt, drive efficiency, scale, consistency and stability, while embracing agility and fast pace of change and innovation.
Develop and manage capability/process maps to ensure IT portfolio alignment and efficiency.
Drive transformation and maturity across integration, data, and other technology domains.
Develop future state and roadmaps.
Establish architectural basis for decision support and prioritization.
Establish relationships and credibility with business and technology leadership and teams.
Build and coach a small Enterprise Architecture team; align skill sets and capacity.
Must have great communication skills and the ability to build relationships

Education and Work Qualifications:

Preferred Graduate Degree in Computer Science
8+ years of architecture experience
5+ years of software design and development
3+ years of team leadership roles
Needs to understand cloud infrastructure (azure preferred), security, data and integration
Four-year degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field preferred but not required

Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:

Excellent communication skills and ability to influence engineers, peers, and senior stakeholders
Experience in establishing and driving adoption of Enterprise Architecture practice
Possess a thorough understanding of modern IT practices such as DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile, Lean, Design Thinking.
