- New product design of advanced LED drivers
- Innovative advanced electronic assemblies associated with our industry leading lighting products.
- In this position you will also work closely with other disciplines in the development and timely completion of projects to include the planning, scheduling, cost analysis, evaluation of alternatives, design review, management review, tooling release and production release.
- BS in Engineering - Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of electrical/electronic product design experience
- Foundational knowledge of electronics
- Ability to use the scientific methods of conducting detailed experiments and documenting/communicating results.
- Ability to use basic test equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc).
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or related technical areas
- Knowledge of power electronic concepts and the components that are required in power electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of PCB routing software, preferably Allegro is a plus.
- Knowledge of C Language programming for embedded solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of UL/CSA/NOM standards and CADAM is a plus.
- Digital and RF design is experience in addition is preferred.
