Job Description

Visa Atlanta is searching for a leader who can build a thriving community while delivering impactful business experiences for our exciting new Atlanta office.

The Facilities Manager, reporting to Global Corporate Services Team, is responsible for the delivery of workspace services, facility maintenance activities, and the overall functionality of the Visa office.

Essential Functions:

Facilities Management

  • Being responsible for the activities of outsourced vendors in the delivery of all required workplace services. This includes but is not limited to overseeing all maintenance services such as janitorial, specialty cleaning, pest control, and kitchen services.
  • Serve as the primary contact with the local landlord/property management function.
  • Managing facilities and space planning programs for the office.
  • Overseeing the implementation of established maintenance contracts to ensure sure such services are performed at the contracted time, term and conditions. Ensure established service levels are met or exceeded while keeping in mind the needs of Visa staff.
  • Create annual CRE BAU and capital budget for the office for approval by CRE management.
  • Partner and collaborate with cross functional organizations and stakeholders to deliver on the support objectives of the Global Corporate Services Team.

Office Operations

  • Ensure compliance with all established Visa Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement any new directives as needed to support the local office with greater efficiency.
  • Creating and maintaining monthly budget summaries to track planned spending and actual expenditures.
  • Creating, maintaining, and monitoring purchase orders for all Corporate Service work performed for the Atlanta space.
  • Creating project documents, proposals and implementation plans to share with Corporate Services Team.
  • Provide coaching and direction to office team staff on systems used by Corporate Services.
  • Engage as the primary lead for Corporate Services with Crisis Management on any urgent needs pertaining to the Visa Atlanta office.

Employee Engagement

  • Assisting the Atlanta office leadership in planning local events and employee experiences, delivering key outcomes of the office engagement plan ensuring alignment with all key
  • stakeholders.
  • The Facilities Manager needs to demonstrate high client and customer service orientation, innovative problem solving, and efficient process management. This role requires a self-starting leader who is interested in identifying and proactively addressing opportunities to improve experiences for our Atlanta office.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Strong and highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fluid environment where assignments change daily and are time sensitive. Ability to work under pressure. Exceptional project management capabilities. Experience in space planning. Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office products. Procurement processes. 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD 5-8 years of professional or corporate experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
