Insight's Digital Innovation Solutions team is bringing exciting products to market which leverage the Microsoft Azure IoT stack. Utilizing a wide array of Azure services and a modern codebase, these solutions are built on cutting edge technologies and are slated for continuous improvements in functionality, infrastructure, and operations as the solutions evolve.

We are looking for a great Front End Architect who is proficient with Angular. Your primary focus will be developing user interface components, integrating a state management system, and integrating to a back-end system. You will ensure that these components follow Component-Driven Development, are robust, and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with other members of the team working on the design, front-end development, back-end development, and QA.

Responsibilities:

Develop user interfaces using Angular and related technologies
Build reusable components and front-end libraries
Translate designs into high quality and maintainable code
Develop user interfaces which are responsive and can be used on any web-capable browser or form factor
Work with other members of the team in a collaborative manner
Lead UI functional team to recommend and define architecture and development standards

Required s kills:

Strong knowledge in JavaScript , TypeScript , and SCSS
Excellent understanding of Angular and core libraries
Experience with state management libraries such as Akita
Experience with component interaction including data binding and event emitters
Understanding of Angular lifecycle methods
Familiarity with new JavaScript specifications of ECMAScript
Familiarity with Rest APIs
Knowledge of Component-Driven Development and Storybook.js is a plus
Ability to take business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Experience with common front-end development tools such as webpack, npm
Excellent understanding of Git code versioning tools
Familiarity with Scrum

Nice to have skills:

Knowledge of Azure Maps Framework
Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
Knowledge of Highcharts charting libraries
