As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will contribute to a wide variety of complex projects involving the design and financing of the full spectrum of health and benefit programs. You will serve as the financial project manager on select projects, interface with vendors and key clients internally and externally, create client deliverables, and ensure quality standards are met. You will have the opportunity to significantly grow your health and benefits business acumen and your financial, project management, and client relationship skills by working on cutting-edge projects alongside leaders in the industry.The Role Compute claim projections and conduct trend analysis for larger clients Track of actual claims to expected budget and update claims forecasts Evaluate funding mechanisms for client’s benefits programs Estimate plan design alternatives, model employee contributions strategies, and calculate reserves Partner with Financial Consultants to deliver superior client deliverables for complex projects Conduct benchmarking studies; provide value-added analyses and summaries. Experience working with multi-state Fully Insured, Alternate funding, and Self-funded clients, between 250-5,000+ employees Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams Review analytical work, mentor and develop junior level staffThe Requirements 4 + years experience and success in the design/management of large group health and welfare plans gained in a consulting or brokerage environment; alternatively, similar experience in a consultative role gained at a carrier or vendor Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and promptly Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter attitude and ability to work individually and as part of a team Desire to mentor/develop more junior staff Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with significant quantitative coursework State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining Health and welfare actuarial/underwriting training desiredWTW may be subject to employment-related COVID-19 vaccination mandates from time to time in certain jurisdictions that may require certifying and providing documentation of vaccination against COVID-19 to work in a WTW office.EOE, including disability/vets (https://cdn-static.findly.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/1240/2021/06/14082050/EEO-Policies-for-WTW-Careers-site-2021.pdf)
