INSPYR Solutions is hiring an HRIS Consultant for our direct client in the Atlanta, GA area. This is a contract opportunity with benefits available. Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word Format) along with salary requirements to Elizabeth Walton at HRIS Consultanthybrid onsite 2-3 days a weekThis role provides functional support to the organization managing and processing personnel transaction changes received from the organization into the applicable HRIS tools.The candidate in this role is an experienced professional with knowledge, understanding and experience processing personnel transactions in support of HR, Payroll and Benefit functions. This role requires a general understanding of HR, Payroll and Benefit practices and policies as they will have a key role in ensuring data is entered accurately and timely and understands the overall importance of each data element keyed into the system(s).Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
  • Check source documents for accuracy
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary
  • Follow up with applicable resource(s) to obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
  • Transcribe information into required electronic format
  • Scan documents into document management systems or databases
  • Check completed work for accuracy
  • Store completed documents in designated locations
  • Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks, where applicable
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
  • Print information when required
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or some college preferred; HRIS systems knowledge is strongly preferred
  • Formal computer training with proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, especially MS Outlook
  • General knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits practices and procedures; accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed; knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation; knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents (such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals), write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Spanish bilingual abilities preferred.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability & statistical inference, & fundaments of plane & solid geometry & trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, & proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions (in mathematical or diagram form), and to deal with several abstract and concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, SharePoint, Outlook and report writers (View Point and Crystal Reports are a plus).
  • Experience working on AS400/iSeries and Windows platforms is preferred. HRIS systems knowledge is strongly preferred with experience using UltiPro, or similar SaaS product, and Optimum, or other applications installed on an AS400 system; accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
