Lead DICOM Java Engineer

Position Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience)

Our innovative healthcare technology client is looking to add a

Lead DICOM/Java Engineer to be their Subject Matter Expert.

This person will be responsible for shaping our client's best practices around their offered services around healthcare interoperability.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Application design for DICOM / FIHR related services
  • Being the expert in all things Healthcare interoperability related
  • Collaborating with Release Engineering and Architecture team on how to design and deploy the appliances into customer sites
  • Developing Java code in a Spring MVC environment, against the requirements set forth by business

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

  • Proficiency with Java development on Spring framework
  • Experience developing HL7 interface engine, ideally on top of DICOM platform
  • Expert level understanding and experience with DICOM
  • Knowledge of FHIR and a proficiency with HL7
