Lead Systems Engineer

Solution IT Inc. is looking for a

• Stays informed and aware of changes and enhancements for the technology platforms the team supports.
• Works as part of a diverse, inclusive team to support our collaboration platforms and directory services.
• Engages regularly with partners across technology teams to maintain and improve existing platforms.
• Works to mentor other engineers and act as an escalation point for technical challenges.
• Works with managers and directors to manage and prioritize a backlog of work efforts.
• Participates in an on-call rotation to support critical business systems.
• Work individually and collaborates with others to complete projects successfully and efficiently.
• Establishes and maintains influential relationships with internal (security, identity, support, etc.) and external partners/vendors.
• Develop automation, integration, and self-service capabilities
• Help create and provide a seamless work experience for client employees around the world using tools, integrations, simplifications, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively and timely regarding status, project efforts, issues, and resolutions.
• Ensure best practices are followed, along with company and departmental policies and procedures.

• Required:
  • 8+ years’ experience in enterprise technology environments
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing and engineering online communication and collaboration platforms
  • 5+ years’ experience in automation skills and platforms; PowerShell, Azure Automation, Power platform, etc.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Azure Active Directory
  • Working experience in leading projects
• Desired:
  • Experience with identity platforms – Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday.
  • OAuth and related authentication knowledge
  • Okta experience and/or related knowledge
  • Conceptual understanding of network load balancing – F5 BigIP.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience
