Section at a Regional Loan Center (RLC) for the Veterans Benefits

Administration. Loan Production (LP) staff assists eligible Veterans

obtaining/maintaining homeownership with a VA-guaranteed loan. LP

also provides training and oversight to lenders and real estate

professionals who participate in the Home Loan Guaranty Program. The

primary purpose of this position is to provide for the delivery of

Make eligibility determinations for VA home loan benefits and

restoration of entitlement.

Ensure loan servicing and claim payment services are provided to

other program participants.

Participates in meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences

Prepare detailed training material for use at meetings,

seminars, workshops, etc. sponsored either by the field station

or program participants.

Audits loan operations to ensure compliance with laws,

regulations, and program provisions.

degree; or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or a LL.M., if

related.

ANDINDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (IOR):Education: This series

has an additional requirement that graduate education must be in one

of the following fields of study: finance, business administration,

economics, accounting, insurance, engineering, mathematics, banking

and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields

related to the position, such as agriculture, agricultural

economics, farm, livestock or ranch management, or rural sociology.
