In this role, you will work closely with experienced Maintenance Technicians to assist in the repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery and equipment. You will also learn to perform preventive and operational maintenance to ensure a functional and safe environment. Pay is commensurate with experience.Expectations:
Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns.
Assist in installing new and upgrading equipment as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair all equipment to keep production going in a timely manner.
Assist with inventory to identify parts and new parts to prevent minimum breakdown or machine downtime.
Learn to maintain records of all work completed, time spent, and materials used.
Comprehend technical documents to learn about machinery and equipment.

What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Have a safe work history and perform safe work habits.
Enrolled in a technical or vocational school program related to industrial/manufacturing maintenance, or equivalent experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Have knowledge of general machine shop equipment (welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipefitting, air compressors, fire protection, and automation).
Willingness to learn and apply new skills.

Available to work : 3p-2a 4 days a week if they work a Friday typically 10a-4p Saturday 6a-2p
